DNA Tracking

To ensure our quality promise, we have collected DNA from all our breeding animals and created a DNA database on file with Veterinarian Genetics Lab (VGL), where it can be accessed to prove any animal’s lineage through generations of breeding. We also microchip and tag all heifer calves at birth. Bull calves are microchipped and DNA samples taken when removed from the breeding camp system between the ages of 12-18 months. Where they then grow out in a large extensive system.
