Roan

Our management system for the roan changed from an intensive system to an extensive system, still covering 1900 hectares. The roan have adapted well to our cold conditions and the Karoo’s natural vegetation. We are excited about introducing BLACKJACK, a new breeding bull, into the herd and who is yet to be measured. Our previous breeding bull JACK, a 30.5” bull, has bred exceptionally well for us in the past. With a beautiful wide shape, he has produced 75% bull calves for us to supply to the hunting market.
